Joanna Bodenweber began her professional design career at Northeastern University Publications. There she designed brochures, catalogs, record albums, and posters.

After graduate school Joanna worked in a variety of print and exhibition design firms in Boston before starting her own business. Her print work has included projects such as books, identities, annual reports, stationery systems, packaging, record albums, and posters. Her exhibition work, in collaboration with exhibit design firms, has included projects for zoos, aquariums, historical and fine art museums.

Joanna received her MFA in Graphic Design from Yale School of Art in 1986. She has taught design part-time at Northeastern University, Clark University, Massachusetts College of Art, and the Art Institute of Boston. She has served as a visiting critic at The Rhode Island School of Design, Yale University, The Art Institute of Boston and Norwich University.

Joanna lives and works in Peacham, Vermont .
